Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and RipClip for using RipClip. By creating an account or using RipClip you agree to them. The short version: your videos stay yours, only upload what you have the right to use, check your clips before you post them, and you can cancel or delete your account at any time.

1. Your account

2. Your content

Shared presets

3. Automatic results

Captions, clip suggestions and rankings are made automatically and can be wrong. Review your clips before you publish them. RipClip doesn't promise views, followers or any other result.

4. Posting to social platforms

When you connect an Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, X or Bluesky account, RipClip publishes only the posts you schedule or tell it to post. Each platform's own terms apply to what you post there, and you're responsible for following them: for TikTok, its Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; for Instagram, Facebook and Threads, the Meta Terms and Instagram's Terms of Use; for X, the X Terms of Service; for Bluesky, the Bluesky Terms of Service. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Free-plan clips carry RipClip's watermark, and TikTok does not allow an app's watermark on posted videos. The first time you post such a clip to a TikTok account, RipClip warns you and asks you to confirm; if you post it anyway, TikTok may hide or remove it, and a paid plan exports clips without the watermark. You can disconnect an account at any time in Accounts, and remove RipClip's access on the platform itself (see Delete your data).

6. Using RipClip fairly

Don't try to break into other accounts or our systems, overload the service, resell it, scrape it, or use it to send spam. Don't use automated tools to create accounts.

7. Our part

8. Ending the agreement

You can stop using RipClip and delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms; we'll tell you why, unless the law or safety prevents it.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA. If you live in the EU or the UK you also keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live. Please contact us first; most problems can be fixed by email.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then.

Latest change (October 6, 2026): we added Shared presets. It only applies if you choose to share an editing preset in the Community gallery, and you agree to it again when you share one. Nothing else changed.
